What is Nordic Boat Delivery?
Nordic Boat Delivery is a Danish crew of three skippers based in Aarhus. We deliver sailing yachts and motor yachts to any port in the world.
How much does a yacht delivery cost?
DKK 2,500 per day (approx. €350), including VAT. You pay for flights, fuel, harbour and marina fees, water and insurance.
What is included in the price?
Two people on board, sailing in shifts, so the boat is on her way around the clock. The crew's own meals and lodging. VAT. You pay for flights, fuel, harbour and marina fees, water and insurance.
Who pays for insurance and harbour fees?
You do. You arrange the boat's insurance, and you pay harbour and marina fees, just like fuel, water and flights. We make no promises about cover; that is between you and your insurer.
Do you deliver sailing and motor yachts?
Yes, both. We assess every request and can say no if a passage does not suit us.
Where do you deliver?
To any port in the world. We have sailed a boat home from France to Denmark, and we describe routes people ask about on our route pages.
How long does a delivery take?
It depends on the boat, the route and the weather. We do not give a time before we have seen your request. We agree the number of days with you before we sail.
What about insurance?
We agree with your insurer that we may skipper the boat before we sail. We make no promises about cover.
Do I have to be on board?
No. We fly out to the boat and sail her to the port you want.
