Nordic Boat Delivery is a boat and yacht delivery service based in Aarhus. This page explains what we do with the details you give us.

Who is responsible

What we store

When you send the form, we receive your name, phone number and e-mail, boat type and length, marinas, preferred period and your message. From an IP address we do not store the address itself, only a one-way code (hash) that is used to stop abuse. The same applies if an AI assistant sends a request on your behalf.

Why

We use the details to answer your request and prepare an estimate or quote. The basis is that you have asked us to (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).

For how long

We delete the request when it is closed, and at the latest 12 months after we have replied if it does not become a job. If it becomes a job, we keep what the Danish Bookkeeping Act requires.

Who receives them

We do not pass the details on to anyone else. The site and the database are with our hosting provider in the EU. The Google Maps map is only shown once you have said yes, and then Google receives information about your visit.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction or deletion, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).

Payment and prices

Boat delivery is DKK 2,500 per day (approx. €350). Two people sail the boat around the clock, and we take care of our own meals and lodging. You pay for flights, fuel, harbour and marina fees, water and insurance. Prices are not part of this policy, but are listed here to avoid any doubt.
